In Memoriam to our beloved collector, Paul, from northern Ohio
"Ghostly Sanctuary" available at "Clyde Butcher" Big Cypress Gallery /Ochopee, Florida link
Inspired by the phenomenal discovery in July 07 of the largest blooming and very rare Ghost Orchid, Florida's wildflower, this is our "first" mixed media piece. This happened at the Corkscrew Sanctuary, Naples, Florida-- it first bloomed with nine, then twelve and then three flowers. Chris and I collaborated with her creating a canvas background to subtly ground the ghosts on cypress without distracting from these wonderful blossoms.
